Our Charity this year is Miles.
Miles at 3 years old was diagnosed with a Grade 1 Ganglioglioma brain tumor on March 6, 2017. The tumor was found to be inoperable due to its location in the brainstem. The initial biopsy cost $72,000. He will need an MRI every 3 months to track the tumors growth. The cost of 1 MRI is $5,000. He is also on several medications to control his severe facial pain and other symptoms related to the brain tumor.
They had additional expenses moving their family from West Virginia to Phoenix. Miles was accepted at Phoenix Children's Hospital for treatment.
Samantha, Miles mother, accepted a job as a travel nurse at Kingman Regional Medical Center, which is 3 hours from where they are living in Glendale Arizona with family.
Joseph, Miles Father, gave up his job to care for the children, Laila 2, Miles now 4, while Samantha works. In West Virginia, he volunteered at his local fire department where he was Lieutenant. Joseph served 8 years in the United States Army as a sergeant. He also served 2 tours in Afghanistan and 1 tour in Iraq.
This family needs all the help they can get!
Joe served his country, and all of us. Now its our turn to help him and his family.

What is the Spring Fever Classic? Glad you asked...
It all started with my Brother Kevin’s bachelor party back in 2003, we had a few foursomes so we decided to play a tournament, needless to say we had a great time that day. The day after my Dad said “Boy that would be great to do that every year” and there you have it the Spring Fever Classic was born. Why Spring Fever Classic? Spring has always been my favorite time of year and since I was a young buck, I always get that Spring Fever as I know everyone is AZ does too, and with no doubt the Event is always CLASSIC. The first year we had it, the response was amazing, with players as well as sponsors. We knew that the costs would be covered, so that is when we decided we should just give the left over money to a Charity. We started the 50/50 raffle a few years ago, thanks to Mr. Farrington, and that has boosted the Charity dollars quite a bit, as do private donations. I always say this is not a Charity event, as we do not do this to raise money, we do it to get together once a year, maybe have a few drinks, and just have a little fun and if we raise a few bucks in doing so then all the better. Just like the #1 Rule, we do this to HAVE FUN, period!
